What We're Looking For
We want working and model documents from democratic workplaces and worker
cooperatives. Documents we are looking for include but are not limited to:

Big picture
Mission statements Bylaws
Strategic plans

Governance
Board of Directors policies/procedures
Organizational charts

Democratic management
Policy manuals
Facilitation guidelines
Effective meeting procedures
Management philosophies
Union contracts
Decision-making procedures/tools

Personnel

Personnel handbooks
Job descriptions
Evaluation forms
Grievance and mediation procedures
Orientation and new worker documents
Hiring/firing process
Other training guides

Financial

Multiple bottom line models
Custom co-op financial statements
Financial education materials
Patronage or profit-sharing policies/tools
Cash flow projection tools
Business and marketing plans

You don't have to send every last one your documents (though we don't mind if
you do!), but please choose a few you think will be helpful. Think about what
you needed when you began, what helps you function every day, what you are
asked for most. To help narrow it down, send us your most indispensable, most
innovative, or most successful documents. At a later point, we may also collect
and study things that didn't work, but for now let's stick with the successes.

How To Donate Documents
We prefer electronic copies, but we welcome hard copies if that's all you have.
