All members receive the following benefits:

- Discount on national conference registration and educational workshops
- Access to USFWC website and forums, and our Worker Cooperative Document Library
- Support applying to the Worker Ownership Fund, the only loan fund in the country dedicated to promoting worker-ownership
- Press kit and media materials to promote your worker cooperative
- Access to advisory and referral services, technical assistance, training resources
- Making history as a member of the first-ever national worker cooperative federation.
- Contribution to a vital and growing movement for economic democracy and sustainable work.

Worker Cooperatives, Other Democratic Workplaces, Federation Partners and Developers receive the following additional benefits, as appropriate:

- Eligible to run for the USFWC Board of Directors as a voting board member*
- Vote in USFWC general elections*
- Member-level access to the Document Library
- Free and low-cost technical assistance, access to joint purchasing, benefits referrals
- Credit card processing through Merchant Mall, a USFWC partner with flat fees and a percentage of fees benefits the worker cooperative movement (see attachment below)

A note on membership and benefits:
Please note that membership in the US Federation of Worker Cooperatives is offered on an institutional basis to worker cooperatives and democratic workplaces. However, members of these institutional members are considered members of the USFWC. All membership benefits for member workplaces also apply to individual members of those workplaces. These include but are not limited to:

-    Discounted member registration to conferences, trainings, and other events
-    Member-level access to the Worker Cooperative Document Library and all member-restricted areas of the website
-    Complimentary copies of all USFWC publications: the Democracy at Work directory, quarterly newsletters, and other publications
-    Access to technical assistance from USFWC staff
-    Eligibility to run for the Board of Directors and serve on member committees and workgroups

* Weighted voting and board representation:
Worker Cooperative and Federation Partner Members: Votes weigh 3; unlimited eligibility to run for board
Other Democratic Workplaces: Votes weigh 2; board representation limited to 1/3 of all seats
Developers: Votes weigh 1 and total cannot exceed 25% of all votes; eligible to run for one developer board seat.
