Argentinean Cooperative Movement and Cooperative Fund Experience

This is a followup to the workshop done in New York in 2006, where we get to dig in a little more to the nuts and bolts of what's happened here in Argentina, in both the recovered factory movement and the experience of coops lending. The objective is to share the experiences here so that people could know what else is happening in the world, so they can shed light on their own passed or future attempts to start coops, and so they can learn about the difficulties and success of starting a grass roots financing organization.

Brendan Martin is a founding member of the Working World, a grass roots coop funding organization and outgrowth of the movie "The Take," and he has three and a half years experience in Argentina at this organization.
