Rural-Urban Connections in Building a Cooperative Food System
How can we better link up farmer cooperatives, farmers markets, consumer co-ops, and worker-owned businesses to create more access to healthy food? This workshop looks at some models for integrating the different parts of the food system, and will ask workshop participants to think strategically about structures we can build using democratic management and worker-ownership. This workshop will be structured as a reverse panel, with the audience setting the topics and actively participating.
