Help guide the direction of the worker co-op movement in the U.S. and serve worker owners across the country as an At-large Director.  Our Board of Directors play a key role in advancing worker ownership in the U.S. and keep member interests and needs at the core of our long-term strategy and everyday operations.  As a part of the USFWC Board you can expect to:

  • Network with other cooperators and economic justice organizations
  • Represent the U.S. at the CICOPA General Assembly (international co-op federation) and as part of delegations to other countries
  • Collectively make decisions that impact our membership and staff
  • Travel to co-op conferences and convenings on behalf of the USFWC

…and so much more!  We are stronger together and we need members like you to fortify the grassroots democracy of the USFWC by joining the Board of Directors.

This year there are five At-large Board seats up for re-election.  Only candidates whose workplace has been a USFWC member for at least one year from the annual member meeting are eligible. Board members are not compensated for their time, but the USFWC does cover expenses incurred in the course of regular Board service, such as travel.

See our Board Nominations page for more information on this year’s Board elections and nominate a candidate by August 31st here!.
