LaTierra (pronouns: sib, kin & she) is a Womxnist-Marxist, Resource Mobilizer, and Cultural Organizer using sib’s talents and skills to invest in the liberation of QTBIPOC fol, Black women and femmes. A Midwest-native, kin graduated from the University of Wisconsin with her B.A. in Communication, minor in Women, Gender & Sexuality Studies and acquired certificates in Community Based-Learning and Media Literacy. Sib currently carries out her Soul Work through the Womxnist Liberation Cooperative, the New Orleans QTBIPOC Exchange, The Womanist Working Collective, and Flourish: A Wealth Redistribution Agency. Sib moved to New Orleans in October 2020 and since has been supporting the expansion of the local Social & Solidarity Economy ecosystem through time banking, grant writing, and cultural organizing.
