Born in Temple, raised in Dallas, working in Austin and living in San Marcos, Angel(a) (she/her) goes by Angela or Angel. Her work in Austin includes youth social justice art educator, grad student at Texas State, community organizer and lover. She has been a member of the Treasure City Collective since August 2015 where her education and practice of consensus work started. Her 10 plus years of anti-racist and social justice work has led to current projects including collective economics and community organizing at Treasure City, consensus training for small groups and start-up collectives, anti-racist consulting, birth justice work including full-spectrum Doula care, and trauma informed embodied yoga instructor. She is a member of Sustainability Solutions Group Coop, a Climate Action Planning Consultancy as the Administrative Coordinator. She enjoys learning (languages, random things, practical things, about UFOs) cooking, walking, dancing, and reading/watching sci-fi. She’s just out here reflecting love, cultivating joy, sharing knowledge, conjuring magic, and practicing peace – living her whole best beautiful life.
