Experienced Carpenter

Equinox Woodworks is a worker-owned cooperative building finely crafted, high-performance custom homes in the mountains of western North Carolina. We do meaningful work — timber framing, passive house detailing, net zero builds — and we do it as a team of co-owners who share a stake in the outcome.

We’re looking for an experienced carpenter (7+ years) to lead technical execution on the jobsite: complex framing, high-end interior finishes, envelope systems, and mentorship of junior crew members. You read plans, solve field problems, and hold the line on craftsmanship. You care about building well and building responsibly.

What we offer: $28–32/hr depending on experience, medical and tool reimbursements, paid time off, profit sharing, and a genuine path to worker-ownership. This is a full-time, year-round position.
