Caracol Interpreters Cooperative is looking for experienced translators and interpreters to start immediately! Women of color and LGBTSTGNC people are highly encouraged to apply. ALL DOCUMENTS MUST BE RECEIVED by April 10th.
Applicant requirements

Community organizing background encouraged

3 years of translation and/or interpretation experience or certification

High register in English and Spanish

Flexibility with daytime and evening schedule highly preferred

Comfort and experience working in teams and collaboratively

Selected candidates must be able to commit to an interview via video-chat in mid/late April as well as a two-hour orientation soon after

INTERPRETER APPLICANTS ONLY – Must also commit to shadowing a Caracol Interpreter once before starting and must live close to and be able to work in NYC.
