Take Action: Tell Congress that Defending the Free Market Means Defending Civil Rights

The USFWC is a founding signatory of a national business & investor joint sign-on coordinated by the American Sustainable Business Network (ASBN), calling for the restoration of the rule of law, due process, and accountability in the United States.

As business leaders, we depend on a system where laws are applied fairly, rights are protected, and no one is above the law. When due process is ignored and accountability erodes, it doesn’t just threaten individuals, it undermines our communities, our economy, and the ability for businesses to operate with confidence and integrity.

Our work powers movements for racial justice and economic democracy, and we believe it is essential to uphold due process and to prioritize the safety and security of our communities in order to have a functioning economy.

Through our collective leadership, businesses across the country are coming together to speak with a unified voice—we invite the membership of the USFWC as well as our partners to join this collective action.

What we are asking:

  • Sign onto this letter to Congress and the Trump Administration
  • Share with your communities and members to sign as organizations
  • Make your individual voice heard by emailing or calling your officials.

Businesses that sign on by February 11 will be included in the first push to Congress. The letter will remain open, and ASBN will continue to re-engage Congress for every additional 300 business signatures, reinforcing and amplifying our message over time.
