The Worker Co–op Farm Peer Network kicked off the year with a meeting to talk about how we are handling finances on our farms. Our worker co–op farms shared their operating agreements, basic finance structures, and financial dreams goals for the coming years. We also brainstormed areas of financial work we’d like to delve into further in our upcoming meetings. We welcomed to the Peer Network White Pine Community Farm in Wingdale, NY, New Roots Cooperative Farm and the Cooperative Development Institute in Lewiston, Maine and the California Center of Cooperative Development who work with several worker co–op farms in California.
