About Us: Co-op Cincy (formerly the Cincinnati Union Cooperative Initiative) is a non-profit cooperative business incubator creating and supporting a network of worker- and community-owned cooperative businesses. We focus on creating co-op businesses in SW Ohio and play a leading role in the union co-op movement nationwide.
The Position: We are seeking a full-time Financial Analyst and Co-op Business Developer to join our team. Starting salary offer is $45,000/year and goes up based on experience; it includes excellent healthcare (medical/dental), generous paid time off (19 days + holidays), and a flexible work environment (including hours & work space). Professional Development is highly prioritized with opportunities for learning open book management, best practices in co-op business development, and co-op culture building.
Developing financial models
Performing Business Assessments and Planning
Project and relationship management for new and existing co-op initiatives
Bachelors degree,; MBA or relevant graduate degree (preferred)
Demonstrated interest in social justice work, especially economic democracy
Strong analytical & quantitative skills; advanced Excel and financial modeling experience
Fluency in Spanish is desired
Co-op Cincy is located in the beautiful, green City of Cincinnati. With its 52 neighborhoods, Cincinnati has the feel of a small town, but boasts an amazing art scene and all the other amenities of a big city. It has one of the lowest costs of living, has amazing public montessori schools, and is just the right size to make a difference.
Co-op Cincy’s office is located in the downtown neighborhood of Over the Rhine. We co-inhabit the dynamic Peaslee Neighborhood Center, full of some of our community’s most influential social justice organizations. We also have free parking and amazing food options nearby!
