Job Description – Printing Sales
Community Printers is a 34 person worker cooperative based in Santa Cruz with a sales and outreach office in Oakland. We are hiring a full time position as a Sales and Outreach Trainee for our East Bay office. While prior experience in the Printing Trade is an advantage, it is not essential for the right candidate. The position requires computer skills, good written and spoken communication skills, methodical process learning, attention to detail and good people skills. Interest in working cooperatively, learning new skills and being self motivated is crucial.
The training period would be 3 to 6 month, at the end of which there will be a collective review. If hired for the position there is a six month probation period before there is a vote for collective membership. Union pay rate and benefits provided including 6 weeks PTO. This position involves occasional travel to Santa Cruz.
